    STORY
    NEW CZECH VODKA

During one of my visits to Prague and after taking a look at the souvenir shop, I found out that the only thing missing besides babushkas, ushaneks and other Russian kitsch is Mig 21 vodka. After looking at the UPV database, I found out that this trademark is indeed granted , but only in class 32, non-alcoholic beverages. So I applied for registration in class 33, alcoholic beverages, including alcoholic energy drinks. This trademark was granted to me on January 9, 2019.

But everything was different. Why MIG 21 anyway?

I have been granted a European patent for the safe transport of skis inside a car EP3061646A1. Sometime around March 24, 2018, after the events in London where the alleged attempt was made to poison Agent Skripal and his daughter, I was on the phone with my lawyer about the charge and in the middle of the conversation I asked him what he thought about reporting Novichok as a protective stamp for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. After explaining and understanding what Novichok means (novice, newbie), I suddenly saw in front of me a shy dancer from a bar taking off her Novichok-branded panties, I burst out laughing - the irony - and my brain started to wrack. I was excited and obsessed with the Novichok trademark and so we reported it to the EUPO on a European basis.

About 14 days later, my lawyer called me and told me that something incredible had happened, and that on the same day a certain gentleman from Paris had requested the same thing, but only at the French national level. The French Patent Office granted the Novichok trademark to that gentleman and rejected it as outrageous after about 8 months. But in the meantime, I approached friends and acquaintances and sold them shares in the entire project. After the rejection at the EUPO, I went to Prague and went to report Novichok at the national level at the UPV, but I was preparing for the rejection in advance. I found in the trademark database names like AK47, bomb, but also Mig 21. I expected to contact UPV after the rejection of the Novichok trademark and ask how it is possible that AK47, bomb, but also Mig 21 are recognized, which killed many more people and represent a greater evil than the entire Novichok, which supposedly killed only 5 people. But something didn't seem right to me about the Mig 21 grade. So I asked the lady at the UPV reception in what class is the MIG 21 trademark granted?

I was informed that in class 32 soft drinks. So I filed an application next to Novichok for the trademark Mig 21 in class 33, alcoholic beverages. Novichok was, as I expected, rejected. So I filed an appeal without argument on the Mig 21 and in another 2 days after filing the appeal we were granted the Mig 21 trademark in class 33. Well, since all the fees exceeded 620,000 CZK, I had to do something and above all not to disappoint my investors, there are a total of 21 of us symbolically. Since no one was interested in buying the stamp, I decided to finish the whole project.

    DRINK AND LOVE RESPONSIBLY

The taste of the new CZECH Vodka Mig 21 is so delicious and authentic that it is basically a delight, because it can be drunk as well as trampled. We created a unique design for her in the "Liquid blanket" edition, which you can come try and buy at the Cocktail bar in Kutná Hora (Barborská street 35) or Piazza NAVONA (Palackého náměstí 90).

Vodka is filled in 4 different sizes (0.25 l; 0.5 l; 0.7 l and 1 l). The whole project stands out not only for its unprecedented enthusiasm - as an input raw material, the exquisite Kojétín spirit is used, but also for its unique bottle graphics. As you can tell, the 1L and 0.7L bartender versions are graphically identical (almost), but the 0.5L family version is already different on the back of the bottle, and the 0.25L souvenir version, intended mainly for tourists, is completely different.

To increase the market value of the trademark Mig 21, applications were made on the registration of trademarks of these expressions in class 33, alcoholic beverages.

These trademarks were granted on 04/08/2020.

Otherwise, the trademark was granted in Slovakia on August 15, 2019 in classes 33 alcoholic beverages, 25 clothing and 3 perfumes.

In addition, non-alcoholic beverages were also requested at the EUPO in classes 33, 25, 3 and 32.

Trademark for the slogan drink and love responsibly was granted on 5/27/2020.
